What is it about the employee situation that is healthy for a business?

A business owner is often focused upon money. After all...he thinks...that's why he's in business. 

An employee is in a situation where he is payed a fixed alotment of money - his salary - and to some degree he does not have to worry about money.. as long as he is living within his means ... and has enough to have the things he believes necessary.

He is freer, in theory, to not be in the trap that the owner is... having to think about getting money..

When you think about the money you are thinking about something else...dreaming of the reward...not really focusing on the product or service or the person you are servicing.

That is the strength of an organisation ... because at least some of the staff will be doing their jobs without thinking about the reward from the customer.

The quality of staff in this regard determines the quality of service and the customer satisfaction rating and the survival of the business. It's basic but it's important.

If a business owner is a sage...he can free himself from the thoughts of getting money and focus on service.

If a politician is a sage ... he can free himself from the thoughts of getting money and focus on service.

In the meantime we have business and government. And we have our personal challenges. A small step forward is a new level reached.
